The smallest of the Aeolian Islands, Panarea, is mostly renowned for its nightlife, which summons tourists from all around Europe. Beyond its worldliness, Panarea is a rural and wild island hiding an amazing history among its terraces, stone walls and abandoned olive groves.
On this private guided tour we will leave the trendy area behind and walk among the Mediterranean scrub surrounded by olive and fig trees. We will reach “Punta del Corvo” to see a rare plant known as Silene hicesiae. Finally, we will get to “Punta Milazzese”, protecting the enchanting bay of Cala Junco, where archaeologists found the remains of a beautiful prehistoric settlement dating back to the Middle Bronze Age.
