The lovers of the great tradition of Italian music will appreciate a tribute to the "Swan" of Catania, which will begin with a visit to the birthplace of Vincenzo Bellini, located in a wing of the Palace Gravina Cruyllas. The house has been turned into a museum and contains antique furniture, memorabilia, manuscripts and original scores. It is remarkable the presence of a spinetta, a musical instrument of the 18th century, similar to the harpsichord.
The tribute to the Swan of Catania will continue with a visit to the Cathedral, which contains the mortal remains of the great musician, in a monument built by Giovanni Battista Tassara located in the right aisle of the church. Our private guided tour will end with a visit to the Teatro Massimo Bellini, designed by Carlo Sada, that opened on May 31st, 1890, with the execution of the "Norma".
