A day archaeological tour along the south-western coast of Sicily will bring us to discover the Greek cities of Akrágas and Heraclea Minóa.
The day will begin with a walk on the rocky crest of the Temple Hill of Agrigento. A series of sanctuaries consecrated to the most important tutelary deities decorated this crest since the late 6th century BC.
The final destination of our private guided tour will be Heraclea Minóa, a colony of Selinunte established on a high white cliff over Capo Bianco beach during the 6th century BC. Among the ruins of elegant Hellenistic and Roman dwellings, which are organised according to an urban system of terraces, we will see the cavea of a Greek theater dating back to the 4th/3rd century BC.
