This cultural day tour will lead you to the top of a rugged hill of the Peloritani, where you will find the small millennial hamlet of Rometta (it was the last Byzantine fortress won by the Arabs in 965). Therefore, it still shows the amazing remains of that period such as Byzantine Church of Gesù and Maria, and the numerous hypogean complexes dug in crags. The ruins of the Palatium belonging to Federico II create an amazing scenery from the top of the hill.
It is likely that this place used to be linked to the magnificent Castle of Milazzo (another extremely beautiful destination of our private tour). This city, which is particularly appreciated for its historical-architectural heritage, developed around such an important example of medieval architecture that you absolutely cannot miss it.
