Starting at "Piano Provenzana", a site rebuilt after the dramatic 2002 eruption, you'll journey along a scenic trail leading to the summit craters. You will then walk one hour to arrive at the 2002 craters, where you'll be awestruck by the desolate yet captivating landscape.
You’ll then conclude your adventure with stunning views of "Monte Nero" and its gorgeous desert of lava stone.
Activity level: The excursion does not present any particular difficulties. It is graded Easy to Medium – on the condition that participants do not present any respiratory condition or other significant health problems like high blood pressure.
