I am a museologist, an archaeologist specialized in Prehistory and an inexhaustible traveller. I have collaborated with numerous Italian and overseas museums in setting up and managing exhibitions. I have also been responsible for the museums’ educational programmes.
For study and work reasons I lived in Belgium, France, Spain and Australia, and for pleasure I have travelled across the continents.
I believe that those who are born on an island always feel its strong appeal. For this reason, I chose to return to Sicily in 2011, where I continue to spend my days in the cultural field, with students, families and travellers.
This wonderful work allows me to cultivate my passions: to do research, meet people from other cultures and talk about the beauty of my land. These passions soon became the core of a new mission - a project to share with other enthusiastic experts and specialists, sharing a desire to put each other in touch with curious travellers from all over the world.
That's how our project Uncovered Sicily was born in 2013! I founded it with Alessandro Rustico, sharing the love for the landscapes, the stories, the people, the flavours that only a land like Sicily can give to those who live there and those who discover her secret beauties on their travels.
