I grew up between Agrigento and Marsala, an area that has always been dedicated to viticulture. And thus, I have made wine and good food my religion, and reason for living.
As a graduate in Food Science and Technology and an expert wine and olive-oil taster, I have always sought out small producers and local makers capable of creating food and wine brilliance. This drive has also fueled my passion for travel. I am a tireless long-term backpacker and I have lived in England, Australia, and Scotland, as well as travelled all throughout Asia.
Historically, I come from a family with a strong tradition and background in cooking, agronomy, and oenology. I am an incurable lover of the sea and fishing, from which I draw much of my inspiration and ideas for cooking, proposing moments of union.
I always carry a frying pan in the car to cope with joyous kitchen emergencies. I define myself as a social creature, as well as a Sicilia-viveur. And so, what better subject for me to share with people than this magnificent corner of the world so full of stories, traditions, and extraordinary flavors.
