I was born and raised in Ragusa, and although I studied outside of Sicily, I never felt like leaving my homeland. I cherish everything that conveys emotions and beauty: history, art, people, food, and wine. I trained as a sommelier, worked as a home chef, and had my own restaurant, where I loved to engage my guests with stories about food and local producers. Storytelling was so important in my work that I eventually made it my profession, becoming a tour and nature guide.
I believe it is through food and wine that one can deeply understand a place as they reflect its history and culture. And that is what I would like to pass on to my guests.
