I am a Sicilian archaeologist, born and brought up in the heart of this remarkable island. I developed a passion and love for my region, for a different Sicily, still able to amaze, distant from traditional tours and waiting to be uncovered, rich in natural landscapes, almost unspoiled and full of very ancient traces that I love to explore and show to those who wish to know a land that still keeps its appeal intact.

CAME AS STRANGERS, LEFT AS FRIENDS
We are not historians but Rossella brought the villa to life for us. We would never have gotten the stories or really understood what was going on with a guidebook or an audio tape. Make sure you see the bikini tiles. Thank you Rossella!!!

Phenomenal day in Enna, Morgantina & Aidone with Exceptional Guide
It is a pleasure to post a review of our recent one day tour with Rosella of Uncovered Sicily.
Debora suggested Rossella as the most appropriate guide, and we couldn’t be more grateful.
Rossella is not only a gifted archaeologist born & based in Enna, with rare knowledge & expertise in this beautiful area, but a friendly, engaging and committed guide intent on facilitating the very best experience possible for us. We had a fantastic day & were privileged that Rossella shared her passion for ancient history with us. Booking this from Australia was a calculated risk, but this brilliant tour exceeded all my expectations. Thank you so much! I can’t recommend Rossella and Uncovered Sicily, highly enough.

Uncovered Excellence
Rossella – superlatives cannot describe our experience with Rossella, the amazing archeologist, at the Villa Romana del Casale. The site is breathtaking and Rossella broke it down so that we could understand the immensity of the mosaics, the symbols they contain, and the fortunate history that has maintained it in its splendid state.
