I'm an art historian specialized in the Middle Ages. I enhanced my knowledge of Medieval phrases during my work experiences at the Church of San Cataldo, an example of the Arab-Norman style, and at the Palazzo Chiaramonte-Steri, a model of "Chiaramontana" architecture. In the latter site, I did many years of research regarding the Spanish Inquisition and for this reason, I co-wrote a book on this topic in collaboration with a team of researchers from the University of Palermo.
I love my job as tour guide because I see it as an opportunity for a cultural exchange between my Sicilian origin and other foreign cultures. I live every guided tour as if it was my first one, which gives me the opportunity to learn new experiences.
