I am an art historian with a strong passion for my land. After getting my M.A. in Paris, I lived in Florence, Spain, and the USA to strengthen my expertise in decorative arts and ceroplastics by carrying out academic research with universities and museums. Finally, I came back to Sicily wishing to rediscover my land and, thus, narrate it to travellers. At the beginning of my first period in Sicily, I worked in an art gallery; afterwards, I embarked on several responsible tourism projects. This authentic fieldwork continues to enrich me and enhance my professional growth.
Currently, I am experiencing being an adventurer in my own city in order to pursue the unexplored stories and people who always render this place unique and lively. I love experimenting with unusual tours and involving travellers – especially those who wish to discover Sicily and Sicilians and challenge stereotypes and “post-card” impressions – in my passion for this marvellous island.
