Born and raised in Palermo, Paola has spent every day soaking up the culture of her island. The Norman cathedrals felt like her own backyard, and the baroque piazzas were her playground. As a tour guide she is passionate about combining cultural heritage, local history, and storytelling. Since 2013, she’s been diving into research at the Department of Architecture in Palermo, where she has been involved in international projects in partnership with many universities. She is also the project manager for the “Liberty Cultural Itinerary” of Legambiente Sicilia, which has been recognized as one of Europe’s RAAN (Reséau Art Nouveau Network) cities. Particular passions include museums, gardens, material, natural and cultural heritage, architecture for social inclusion, and urban transformations. She will bring cities to life by sharing unforgettable stories about their renowned places, faces, and environments. She loves working with intellectually curious clients and enjoys being challenged with unusual questions!
